Bundling the RewardsDisc with the X-Men videotapes and DVDs provides Fox with an effective tool to identify its customers -- a challenge difficult to overcome for many manufacturers of consumer products who sell through indirect channels. Consumers who purchase selected X-Men videotapes or DVDs receive an action-packed interactive RewardsDisc. The RewardsDisc offers content that will appeal to fans of the movie. Consumers run the CD-ROM to view unseen footage and movie trailers as well as special offers to thank them for their purchase and encourage them to register their new videotape or DVD. | ||
