DirectX 9.0 Beta 1 has been released to testers. As of this moment only the SDK has been released. As the feature list is rather massive we won't post it here but get a seperate page up later. Here is the main blurb:

Does not support either Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0 Please view the DXReadme.txt for late breaking information DirectX for Visual Basic is being limited to DX8 APIs.
