You may remember these scenarios from Microsofts Really? Windows Phone 7 ad campaign, which says its time for a phone to save us from our phones. But a gag-gift company says it got there first.
Cellrderm, which sells novelty Nicoderm-style patches to alleviate cell-phone addition, is suing Microsoft for copyright infringement over its Bathroom Really and Bedroom Really commercials. The Boca Raton, Fla.-based company alleges Microsoft and its ad agency, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, ripped off two online Cell-R-Derm ads, with essentially the same scenarios.
