Halo has finally gone gold. Here is the post from Matt in the Bungie forums: We passed certification yesterday. Halo is done. The manufacturing plant got the GM today and is
pressing up a zillion Halo discs as I type this. All of us worked very hard to get to this point and we
are collectively very proud of what we have done. Over the last few years Halo has attracted a lot of
attention, and it's safe to say Halo will be the first Bungie game for a huge
number of people. But it's not a fluke or a freak accident or a case of being in
the right place at the right time. It's the latest chapter in the ongoing story
of Bungie, which started ten years ago and is still being written. Like all our
stories, it's full of dips and twists and weirdness. Sincere thanks to those of
