Microsoft Corp. today announced it had reached an agreement with Indianapolis Colts Pro Bowl quarterback Peyton Manning for Manning to be the spokesman for "NFL Fever 2002," Microsoft's exclusive football title for the Xbox™ video game system. Manning will conduct a chat tonight at 9 p.m. EDT/6 p.m. PDT on http://chat.msn.com/peytonmanning.msnw/ to discuss his involvement with the game. With over 12,000 passing yards and 85 touchdown passes completed in just three NFL seasons, Manning has established himself as one of the premier quarterbacks in the NFL. As part of the deal, Manning lent his extensive football knowledge to the game producers, and his image will appear on all "NFL Fever 2002" packaging and merchandising, including the inaugural "NFL Fever 2002" box cover. He also participated in motion-capture sessions in which every detail of his game was captured from multiple camera angles to re-create his precision handoffs and cannon-like throws for "NFL Fever 2002." | ||
