Oh the horror of it all. It appears that the excellent T2: Extreme Edition release is being marred by a metal outer covering that literally chews the DVD's Amaray case and paper cover when you try to slide it off. My copy came off nicely, but judging from the emails a lot of you weren't so lucky. Happily though, Artisan Entertainment is responding to this situation in a prompt and professional manner:

"We are aware of the problems with the first-run of the metal O card packaging for T2 and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience [it has] caused. Replacement plastic cases can be obtained by calling our Account Services Hotline at 800-650-7099."
When you do call, please be calm and polite. It is, after all, only a plastic case. And my suggestion is that once the metal case is removed, don't slide it back on. Just put it somewhere for decorative purposes.
