During the Microsoft Management Summit last march, Microsoft announced that they were acquiring a license for using the EMC S.M.A.R.T.S. technology and would integrate that in the next major version of Operations Manager, currently codenamed MOMv4 (hinted to be named Operations Manager 2007 R2). Marie-Pierre Belanger presented a session on Teched 2007 today, about EMC S.M.A.R.T.S. and Operations Manager 2007. Here is a short summary. | ||
