It's the holy grail. To get its complete number is to touch the face of God himself. Many have died in their efforts, but NASCAR Thunder 2002 will be one of the first to succeed. Yes, it's a full 43 car field on a console system. Of course, leave it to Infogrames to steal EA's thunder by also offering gamers a full 43 car field in its upcoming game NASCAR Heat, but no matter -- it's the Xbox, Xbox is the future, and the future of Xbox lies in finally tossing a full selection of cars for you to compete with. There wouldn't be a console launch without a full selection of EA sports titles to choose from, and in the case of cars, that means F1, and the beer and chilli fuelled NASCAR championships. What makes this new version different than all the other iterations of the series, however, is that consoles will finally get a complete version of the NASCAR experience, without having to cut corners.
