Warner Home Video has just announced another round of fantastic 2-disc special editions.
First up, Kevin Costner and his dodgy British accent star in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, presented with an anamorphic widescreen transfer (1.85:1), English DD 5.1, French DD Surround, and Spanish DD Mono audio. Extras include audio commentaries by Kevin Costner, Morgan Freeman, Christian Slater, Writers/Producers Pen Densham and John Watson, Composer Michael Kamen; "Robin Hood: The Man, The Myth, The Legend" featurette; interviews with the cast; a DD 5.1 music-only track; Bryan Adams music video; a publicity gallery; and "Weapons of the Time" 3D Interactive Loop.
Robert De Niro and James Woods star in Sergio Leone's epic Once Upon a Time in America. Presented in the original 229 minute director's version, this disc will feature an anamorphic widescreen transfer (1.85:1), along with English and French DD 5.1 audio. Extras include a feature-length audio commentary with film critic/historian Richard Schickel, the original documentary "Once Upon a Time: Sergio Leone," a photo gallery, filmographies, and a theatrical trailer.
Also included in this wave of special editions are the acclaimed look at the US program The Right Stuff and sprawling Texas epic Giant.
