Thanks Scott. "Any comments and intimations that Mr. Kusnetzky and his team at IDC were paid to give Microsoft a statistical edge over Linux are ignorant of recent history. Dan Kusnetzky, is one of the six authors of the Windows 2000 Versus Linux in Enterprise Computing white paper from IDC. Mr. Kusnetzky should know a thing or two about Linux because he has tracked Linux for years as it rode a wave of dot-com enthusiasm in 1998 and has been cautiously optimistic about the open source operating system now that the post-capitalistic “New Economy” has cratered. CNET’s own News.com often has featured IDC’s stats extolling Linux in the enterprise space coming straight from Kusnetzky himself. " | ||
