There was a designer, a diver and a handbag maker, but it was the scientist who proved most savvy. Microsoft Corp.'s Macintosh Business Unit today declared Alissa Salmore, research associate for Great Lakes Water Institute (http://www.uwm.edu/dept/glwi/) in Milwaukee, the winner of its Ms. M.o.X.i.e. (Microsoft® Office v. X Integrated Experience) contest, culminating a national search for the most savvy, accomplished businesswoman who uses a Mac. In addition to the Ms. M.o.X.i.e. title, Salmore will receive $10,000 and a new iMac loaded with Microsoft Office v. X, the productivity suite developed specifically for Mac OS X.
