GameSpy: Long time role-players will be surprised to find that you've
done away with some old-fashioned game conventions. Archers won't need to carry
around arrows, and wizards won't need to dig up spell components. What was your
thinking there?
The AC2 Team: Doing town trips to restock were a necessary evil. It
wasn't fun. You went into town, did your business and got back to whatever you
were doing. Having a fellow say, "Uh, guys, I'm outta arrows. I need ya'll to
wait 10 minutes while I recall back to town, logon my fletch mule, and get
some arrows" is not a good time for those waiting (and the player that's
leaving often will have tinges of shame as well for breaking up the hunt). So
short answer: doing town runs for supplies sucks.
