Ever wanted to star in your own videogame? If so, the latest deal between Ubi Soft and NBC GIGA might interest some of you. Announced this morning, the agreement gives those that attend the upcoming Games Convention in Messe Leipzig, Germany, (August 29th – September 1st) the chance to have their faces photographed and then transformed into characters from Ubi Soft’s upcoming first-person shooter, XIII. Making use of cel-shaded animation, XIII has been described as a ‘graphic novel’. The game makes use of the Unreal Engine and is slated for release on Xbox, PlayStation 2, GameCube and PC CD-ROM during Q1, 2003. | ||
