Ubi Soft didn't show off the PC version of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell at its San Francisco press event today, but it did have some news on the game's progress. The developers said the PC version is about two weeks behind the Xbox version, which is scheduled for release in late November. PC gamers can expect to get their hands on the latest Tom Clancy action game in the first week of December.
Splinter Cell takes the Tom Clancy action game franchise in a new direction. In the game, players control a single NSA operative named Sam Fisher. The game is played in the third-person and has a strong focus on stealth, although Sam certainly has plenty of gadgets and weapons at his disposal.
