Avanade Inc. today became one of the first systems integrators to be granted access to Microsoft Windows source code through a new program from Microsoft. The Microsoft Systems Integrator Source Licensing Program (SISLP) will give Avanade technologists access to Windows source code which will, in turn, allow them to design and deploy Windows-based solutions that are stronger, more secure, and more readily integrated into customers' existing systems. Approximately 150 systems integrators worldwide qualify for SISLP, which includes source code access for Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows .NET Server, and future releases of Windows. Avanade's early participation will enhance its ability to secure, manage, integrate, and improve the performance of customers' enterprise systems.
