Service Pack 2 was supposed to solve Windows XP's bugs but let loose some gremlins of its own. We show you how to attack the problem. Microsoft released Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) in August, it was intended to solve a host of security problems as well as irritations, such as pop-up advertisements. The most serious problems have affected businesses, but some home users have also reported problems running certain applications after installing SP2. Some have even said it caused their computer to crash.
