Eidos' announcement that they have returned to profitability brought other news that will sadden Nintendo fans around the world. Mike McGarvey, chief executive for Eidos, announced that the company will no longer publish games on the Nintendo console.
Eidos announced yesterday that they had a profitable year behind Lara Croft and other big franchise names. However, they claim only a small fraction of those profits were made on the Nintendo GameCube, which stopped production due to slow sales last month.
"The GameCube is a declining business," said McGarvey.
Eidos will continue to publish games on both the Xbox and PS2 around the globe.
