Microsoft limits travel to Singapore and region, lets workers work from home
The world's largest software maker, Microsoft, is having to contend with a dangerous virus, not the typical computer virus, but the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome virus. Concern over the SARS virus has led Microsoft to issue a worldwide advisory for its workers to cancel all non-essential travel to Singapore and other SARS-affected countries, like Hong Kong, China and Vietnam.Advertisement
Meanwhile, its employees based in these countries have been told not to travel and instead, if they like, work from home.
