MontaVista Software, Inc., the company powering the embedded revolution™, and InterVideo Inc., a leading provider of DVD software, today introduced LinDVD, InterVideo's Linux DVD-playing software which has been validated and optimized for MontaVista™ Linux®.
LinDVD provides DVD playback on MontaVista Linux, producing crystal clear images at full video frame rates, AC-3 5.1 channel audio and other advanced features found on high-end DVDs. LinDVD can also support hardware MPEG decoders for set-top box and PVR (Personal Video Recorder) applications.
