Ladies and gentlemen -- I'm in Hell. By hook or crook (or just for cruel amusement), a certain editor has seen fit to foist every manner of extreme sport simulation imaginable upon my shoulders as of late. It's a topsy-turvy rollercoaster of repetition that rose with Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer, hit its nadir during Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, and all but bottomed out upon Big Air Freestyle's arrival.
And now we've freakin' plateaued completely with Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2. Though no coaster by any means, it's a completely middling attempt at replicating the formula that has already served an entire generation of perfunctory products all too well. Having one of those days? Nay ... I'm having one of those lives.
