Viva Piñata was a fun game when it came out last year, though it was certainly unappreciated by—or unknown to—many Xbox 360 gamers. Perhaps it wasn’t seen as a hard-core title and therefore was shunned by many, but those who played it found the premise to be unique and entertaining, and not necessarily as juvenile as the animated cartoon that’s doing so well on TV. This year Microsoft is following up with a party game called Viva Piñata: Party Animals. The title supports up to four players (who can drop in or drop out at any time) competing in various minigames and races using the familiar cast of characters.
