The time travel gaming trend continues with Atari's announcement of TimeShift, set for release this upcoming Fall. In the game, players will have to control and travel through time to solve a series of puzzles and defeat waves of fierce foes - all from a first-person perspective. "Atari continues to demonstrate its commitment to creating innovative video games, and with "TimeShift," we are working with Saber Interactive to completely re-envision one of the industry's most popular genres," said Wim Stocks, executive vice president, Sales and Marketing, Atari. "`TimeShift' will challenge players to use their minds along with their weapons to battle enemies and solve complex gameplay puzzles. `TimeShift' will change the fundamental way gamers think about first-person shooters by using the fourth dimension: time itself."
