Xbox Live became an instant success in North America, and this morning that seems to be the case for Europe as well. In a report issued today by Microsoft, over 50,000 gamers across Europe are playing Xbox Live and have been since the service launch in Europe on March 14th. Coming off a preview program that ran in the UK, France and Germany starting November 2002, Xbox Live in Europe comes with demo versions of MotoGP, MechAssault and Whacked, and has so far managed to take the higher sales in respect to multiplatform titles that feature online play via Xbox, but not for the other systems. In addition to the initial announcement, Microsoft put forth a release schedule covering live titles across the region. Check it out below.
