Anheuser-Busch Inc.'s Budweiser brand is teaming up with Microsoft's Xbox video game system for in-bar promotions through the end of the year. Financial terms were not disclosed. Nearly 300 Anheuser-Busch wholesalers in more than 100 markets will take Xbox into 1,200 bars, clubs and pubs a week to allow consumers age 21 and over to play the video games. The companies are launching point-of-sale materials and premium items to promote the program. In addition, consumers can win promotional items including Xbox games and coupons by participating in the promotion.
