Microsoft introduces HailStorm to India | |

Thanks Josh. Microsoft on Friday unveiled in India its "HailStorm" technology and said six major Indian software companies had developed applications for it, the first to do so in the Asia-Pacific region. HailStorm, part of the company's Microsoft.Net strategy to start selling software as a service delivered online, is effectively a personal information manager that helps make online transactions easier whether through a PC, a cell phone or another kind of handheld device. Using HailStorm, a person will be able to check flight schedules, book and pay for a ticket, have the cost automatically reflected in a personal budget program and have the trip dates added to a personal calendar. | ||

| Cool, Jagged! I'm sure I will have a fun time. I've been there before, and it was a real livining experience. I'll be in New Dehli most of the trip this time, but I'll venture off to Agra to see the Taj Mahal and go north to Jaipur to see ride an elephant up the Pink City. Then, before I leave I will fly up to Kathmandu and take a helicopter ride around Mt. Everest. Should be awesome! I just need to update the website with a 17 1/2 hours difference to be on the ball for the EST morning :-) Where did you go? |

| #13, your favorite activewin website representative said he loves India - see above :-) and btw, In Goa, on the coast of India, it is a tropical paradise and definitely one of the cleanest and nicest places I've ever been. |
