Everyone who knows better uses Nero AWJulien. It's got good features, and more importantly, it is STABLE and doesn't EAT your computer like ECDC can.
When ECDC 5 Platinum was released, it said "Compatible with Windows 2000" on the box. It should have said "Destroys Windows 2000 on Contact".
Instead of fixing the problem to correct this, they _removed_ the offending feature, and never bothered to fix it.
Nero is your best bet.
However, I must say there is another product that has been getting my attention. RecordNow MAX 4 is a darned nice package. I especially like the neat, clean interface. Unfortunately, it doesn' t support my writer (TDK 32/10/40B), which is odd since it's one of the most popular writers sold, and has been #1 on PCWorlds Top-10 list for several months.
RecordNow MAX is written by Veritas, and is sold by Stomp, Inc. Veritas won't support it, and they send you to Stomp. Stomp doesn't support it either, apparantly, because I've been trying for 2 months to get a response from them and have yet to get it. Stomp's technical/product support is absolutely non-existent if my experiences are typical.
So, that brings us back to Nero. Still your best bet :)
