Last week, Microsoft disclosed the new Windows Server 2012 licensing model and outlined the future of Small Business Server. So....
The product that is supposed to replace SBS and WHS will only install as a DOMAIN server. Microsoft is just plain stupid sometimes. I like it, but once again they shoot themselves in the foot. |

By the way, a warning...
If you install the connector software on a client machine, it wipes out your workgroup settings and adds the machine to the servers domain. No warnings, no notices. |
