Microsoft Corp. today announced the results of double-blind tests conducted by independent eTesting Labs showing that nearly three times as many test participants prefer the quality of Microsoft® Windows Media™ Video 8 over RealVideo 8. Viewers rated Windows Media Video 8 higher than RealVideo 8 on three out of four test clips, and they found it to have smoother motion and sharper image quality. | ||

| The point is, is that with Windows Media, you can typically have a lower buffer time, AND suffer from fewer disruptions. The fact is, Real*.* sucks and they never really had a good product, they just had a half-assed decent product out first and that's the only reason they're in existance. Yet another completely inept, incompetent competitor of Microsoft. Remember the RealPlayer grabbing information from your computer and uploading to Real for marketing purposes? Yeah, that's the incompetency I'm talking about. |
