Microsoft today announced the availability of Windows Home Server 2011 and Small Business Server 2011 for MSDN and TechNet subscribers. The new releases, which hit RTM (Release to Manufacturing) status last week, comprises separate downloads – an Installation DVD and a Client Restore CD. Windows Small Business Server 2011 Essentials, the business-focused, close cousin of WHS is also available for download. | ||

| During installtion of SBS 2011 Essentials last night the screen momentarily said Windows Server 2008R2, after the Windows 7-like setup. At Microsoft 98% is always "good enough". I hope the online help is complete soon. There are too many "placeholders" where answers should be. Yeah, it won't go on slae until May 1. Still, I believe the details should all have been covered by the RTM date. Here we go again. |
