Now I'm assuming that the comparison was performed on the final version of Internet Explorer 9 - as this would have been part of the whole "hey... use our browser instead as it ticks all the boxes that we've drawn up" PR exercise. The minor issue of course is that the time that IE9 was released Firefox had v4 RC1 released and Chrome had v10 final released, v11 beta released and v12 dev released. Not that the end result would have been different - I mean... the goal is to ensure that whatever boxes are included just happen to be the ones that your product ticks.
Thanks for the comparison, good work IE team, but no thanks.

#1: Yes, I was also struck by how they compare a fresh-baked IE to older versions of everyone else. But then we expect no less from MS. As soon as they start playing shell games, you know there's a catch and the whole thing is rigged.

A company emphasizing what sets their product apart from the competition while not mentioning its own shortcomings is truly groundbreaking. Microsoft should be lauded for such innovation in advertising.
