#4: I agree that Office 2010 is the best version ever. However, I have a tough time selling it to consumers. Businesses have less resistance to the new version. The point I was making in post 1 was that the reasons given in the article will not convince any non-business Office user that I know to buy Office 2010. To them Office 2000, Office XP and 2003 work just fine. A good question is does it make me type faster?
Added: If a customer uses Outlook the sell is easier as Win7 does not properly support Outlook 2002, etc. Some just want to switch to webmail instead. They are the customer. It's their call. Now, give me ten compelling reasons that will make an uninterested consumer want Office 2010.
