1) Outdated Intel Codec
2) Intel sold around 1999 - don't think the new company even updates it, as they started charging for it back in XP days.
3) Every other OS that supported it, dropped it years ago (Mac, etc.)
So ya, a non-issue at best.
PS (If you still have any AVI using the codec, go find a free codec library that supports Indeo, and convert them to WMV.)
