Microsoft unleashes another 'laptop hunter' ad | |

Microsoft's assault on Apple is continuing, as the software maker is ready with the third in its "Laptop Hunter" series of Windows ads. This time it's a mom and kid in search of an entertainment notebook. Guess, what? They go with a PC--a Sony this time. And, instead of going to Fry's, they hit Best Buy. Otherwise, it's pretty much the same thread as the earlier spots, though this time Microsoft once again plays the kid card. | ||

| Funny part is it turns out you can't get the laptop they bought in Best Buy off the shelf either - you have to get it customized lol |

The ad stated he wanted the laptop for gaming, that graphics card doesn't play a lot of games?? Or is the ad misleading people too? It's an ad for christsake, not a matter of life and death. This post was edited by Byron_Hinson[AW] on Friday, April 10, 2009 at 13:06. |

So, let's recap:
crapple's dear leader is gone crapple's iPod has all but saturated the market (even the Queen of England has two!) crapple's iPhone is being copied by every major vendor on the planet crapple's "Microsoft product users are nerds" ads are being thrown back in their face in spades OUCH! |

#7 Byron, I have no problem with you pointing out the kid may not have got the best gaming laptop in the world for $899. But don't mislead people. The laptop he bought is very available at BestBuy. Clearly the Blue Ray movie playback and remote swayed his head. But thats what shoppers do when they get out and see all the options.
I know you aren't used to options being a macHead. But don't lie and say the laptop wasn't available. |

| lol - I don't need those kind of options as the Mac's do what I want them to do. I'm just pleased I build my PC's so I don't have to bother going into any of those kind of stores myself. Can't wait for people to buy that laptop thinking it has great game performance, yet won't run 90% of the latest games. |

| Same here in honesty, I'd love to be proved wrong but the only gaming I've done on any laptop is point and click adventures! |
