Budget cuts are causing many companies to rethink how they deploy technology -- but rather than causing them to dump Windows Server in favor of Linux, the situation is prompting them to build on whichever platform they already know and use, a Microsoft official said today. | ||

| Ballmer is full of bluster, as usual. Didn't he say MS was going to "f-cking kill Google"? I'm still waiting for the death stroke. One day he says Linux is nothing and the net day their SEC filing says Linux is a serious threat. The man's entire job is to lie to benefit the company. |

| Have to agree here that he does spout a lot of Bull in public - behind the scenes I'm sure it is different, but he contradicts himself so much I don't tend to take any notice of what he says publicly anymore. |
