The Hotmail Team truly listens to your feedback and acts upon it. Over the last few weeks they’ve rolled out fixes that resolved many of the reported issues. These include the problems when using a larger text size, viewing favorite contacts and opening some messages. You also should be able to access Hotmail from Firefox on Linux just fine now. | ||

| I feel a twinge of irony reading the article as two days ago my Hotmail account was hijacked, somehow when I was not using it, and bogus e-mail was sent to all my contacts, which I apologized to and then deleted so the same issue won't happen again. I find what happened disturbing, as I am one of many that have been hit. |

#4: Excellent. You hooked me on that one. Back in ancient times, in the past millenium, when 56k bps modems were cool, and before I had a domain and web site, MS required partners to use Hotmail. | It's been months now that I have not been able to open any Hotmail messages. All I get is a small yellow javascript box in the left bottom corner that says "loading" and nothing happens. When will MS really fix this problem? |

Why gmail? Because my ISP doesn't have a webmail client worth pissing over. They have a limit of 500mb of space, they have 5mb attachment limits, and the UI is horrible.
I prefer cloud computing vs. using IMAP or leaving copies of my messages on server in email applications. |
