I never stated I liked ZD/CNet either. :-) They often display bias against Microsoft initiatives, and their Talkback section is filled with ignorant Mac and *nix users (Note: I'm not saying all Mac or *nix users are ignorant). Few articles are written in support of Microsoft, and when they are, the Talkback folks instantly pounce on the author of the article. Thus, most of their writings present MS is a giant, evil, entity with no redeming qualities. This is billed as news, but is often fodder for the Talkback group who use the article to further criticize Microsoft, and site ZD/CNet's bias in favor of Microsoft even thugh the bias presented in the article is clearly the reverse. Don't get me started on John C. Dvorak's crazy ravings.
An example of ignorant users:
Some Mac users once criticized a CNet review of a Mac, because CNet clarified that a DVD/CD-RW combo drive included with the Mac only read, but did not write DVDs. The Mac users said because of this statement, that CNet had written an article dissing the Mac due to their PC bias.
