I truly believe that this is a bad idea for MS! there has been such bad blood created between the two companies that I can't forsee anything fruitfull from this.
essentially, anyone who is or has contributed to the success of yahoo has either left or is cashing out and leaving. MS is essentially buying yahoo in name only. Yahoo has been on the downward side for a long time and this hostile take over has brought this to light even more. that google butt boy Wang has created tons of poison pill deals such that if MS takes over it will hurt them. |

| #2 : I could not agree more with your statement; also I am not a big fan of this "everything in the cloud" trend; I remember when Win95 was going to be launched all the fuss about the so called "Thin computer" that, supposedly, were going to revolutionize the way we were using computers etc. etc.; now they are pushing the same concept with an even worse spin: put everything somewhere in the cyberspace. I might be wrong but time will tell. |
