Windows Vista SP1 will be released as an update on Microsoft Update (MU). The patch is very large and there is a bug in Windows Server 2003 in the WinVerifyTrust API that will cause signing validation to fail. | ||

The story confusing as the fix in KB888303 is already a part of SP1 for Windows Server 2003 (see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/824721).
Does this mean that a) any WS2003 SP1 server is immune, or b) that installing System Center Essentials 2007 somehow retrogrades the SP1 fix, or c) the article is poorly researched or explained, or d) some combination of the above? |
