I've played with the betas a bit, but mostly with RC0. Windows Server 2008 is really, really good. The performance is incredible, and Viridian is already looking awesome. Other folks I've talked to have been saying the same. It will be very interesting to see if that trend continues, especially considering that it's the same codebase as Vista, which has received much criticism (unfairly in many respects, though, in my opinion)
I haven't started checking compatibility of many apps yet, though. |

| #1 You're right... the code base is very good, great to see Vista getting (most of) it as well. Great speed, worthwhile new features and the compatibility is perfectly fine IMHO. The improvements with each build have been impressive as well. |
