Yesterday MS released the alpha version of the upcoming Windows Server 2008 Security Guide. You can sign up using connect: LHSG-DFWK-7BFX or by clicking here The Windows Server 2008 Security Guide will provide guidance, recommendations, and automation tools for the Microsoft® Windows Server® 2008 operating system to help IT Professionals create and maintain a secure environment for a variety of servers running Windows Server 2008. The Alpha review runs from 9/19/07 – 10/1/07, but we will accept feedback as late as 10/10/07. | ||

I've been using the June beta as my work PC.
The only bad issue I found was that my video card won't do 32bit color for both 1920x1200 monitors. The VGA on only does 16bit. That was also true for W2K3R2, but the driver wouldn't let me set the VGA monitor at 32bit. Longhorn allowed me ... and it went flakey every once in a while. |
