OTTAWA, Ontario — Just because you're the daughter of Bill Gates does not mean you get to play on your computer all day long. The Microsoft (MSFT) founder said his 10-year-old daughter, his oldest child, was not a hard-core Internet and computer user until this year, when she started at a school where the students use tablet computers for almost everything. Gates said he and his wife Melinda decided to set a limit of 45 minutes a day of total screen time for games and an hour a day on weekends, plus what time she needs for homework. | ||

Both of my sons, being high achievers in both academics and sports, don't have unlimited free time to spend in front of the computer (or playstation). To some extent, their busy schedules help self-regulate how they spend their time.
However, we do have some limits for World of Warcraft... even for dad! :-) |

I was at one time rxcall... but I've got most of it burned to disk now, so I don't need to download as much anymore.
BTW, I've got the disks labeled 'user manuals' so there is absolutely no chance my wife or anyone else will ever put them in the computer... |
