#1, When you do log in and begin to type your user name, does it auto-complete and fill your password? Once you have logged in, does the site retain your credentials throughout your session?
These were the two areas I had noted in the past that did not work, that now do. I have not lost any posts, for example [I used to copy and past them so as not to lose them in the past, before clicking the post button]. Now, I just log in and use the site as I think it was designed - even when edting an existing post, as just tested. That is where I used to lose session variables previously. | Same with me--I got into the habit of copying before posting (which really isn't such a bad habit, I guess). Something that frustrates me about IE that didn't seem to happen in Firefox, though (a little off-topic, but anyhow), is that when you accidentally click on a link after filling out some text and try to go back, Firefox remembers it (hooray!) and IE does not (Arrrrgghhhh!!). I hope that is something they consider.... |
