oldog: Browsers are a matter of preference and what brand you use is becoming less relevant. Where they take you is what matters. Google has a long term vision for the Internet that is working. Gmail is superior to other web mail services, except Yahoo. Google’s FREE calendar is working great at a small business (30 employees) that I work with. Exchange Server was so screwed up it would have cost a fortune to fix it. The only thing desired from Exchange was shared calendaring through Outlook. The savings using Google Calendar will be thousands of dollars, not a pittance for a small company and not a one time savings. No more annuities for MS without serious effort and low prices. Point: Pricing $399 for Vista Ultimate is almost a crime. MS Office is no better than OpenOffice for everyday work
If Google can continue this model with an improved office suite, where a local client can work offline, they will seriously chip away at MS over time. Use whatever browser suits your taste. Use whatever OS works best for you. Goggle will use them all to show how to get business done.
