It’s no surprise that most people would rather spend time enjoying their money than managing it. Millions of Americans have made the switch to online banking because of the convenience it offers but find they still have to visit multiple Web sites to get a clear view of their day-to-day finances. | Every release of Microsoft Money after Money 2004 has been complete and total crap. I can't even express in words how disappointing the last 3 releases have been. |

I use the latest personal and business version and have found it to be pretty difficult to make full use of. Perhaps I have not spent enough time in it, etc... but I have moved to SBA, which I think is better for me and it is very well done and cheap, too. I run that server now and have dumped Money for the most part. I don't know what happened, but the product seems ot have tried to do too much - but less well than what it did really well in earlier versions.
I never thought I'd use a business centric app like SBA for this, but since moving to it, I really like it. My Daughter is really good in SSRS on SQL 2005 and she'll be able to make all forms of very powerful analysis/reports from it. I still think Money has a lot of potential, but they need to work on it, or scale it back to what it once was. |

agreed chrishedlund. i was an AVID (to the penny) user. But i lost interest in the product. I don't have any interest in Quicken either. Its the same, just different UI.
My needs are better served in a hand-crafted excel doc. This post was edited by mooresa56 on Friday, July 21, 2006 at 13:37. |
