Windows Live Mail Center beta, previously called Windows Live Mail Desktop is the tool that is meant to allow you to read your Hotmail/Windows Live Mail/Custom Domains mails from a rich desktop application via POP3. It also is applicable to any POP3 server. | ||

| imo it doesn't look nice, looks like a messy combination of a desktop app and web application. It also gives me impression of what MS Outlook Express 7 could look like. |

It's kinda sad that they've got all these people working on "Live Mail Center" while Windows Mail (Outlook Express) is left to wallow in the mire.
My guess is that they decided to put all the "Live" features into a separate app, instead of Windows Mail, to avoid antitrust bundling lawsuits. :-/ |

| are you guys sure this isn't outlook express? I just thought it was. Notice the similarities when hitting "send/recieve", etc. I think its the same, but with changed GUI. |
