Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly approved a two-year extension of Microsoft's US antitrust oversight yesterday, noting that she was "disappointed" in the software giant's lack of compliance. The US Department of Justice (DOJ) had previously asked the judge to extend oversight of Microsoft's business practices through November 2009; it would have previously expired in late 2007. | ||

| I thought Europeans liked socialism, where you pay according to your means. Third world customers only pay about $35 for Windows XP Starter. Is this wrong? |

#3 The concept to "pay according to your means" is not something related to what you call "socialism". Without getting in fields that are not related to a computing oriented site like this I would just say that the concept is entranched in what we call a modern society.
