Microsoft asked the European Commission to open to the public hearings that could bring the U.S. software giant a large fine, but the Commission said on Tuesday that regulations require they be closed.

This is sweet. Usually MS is in the dominant position and dictates a hard line to others. It's funny to watch it squeal like a pig when the shoe is on the other foot.

Obviously, Microsoft wants a closed-door session because they don't want the public finding out about all their nefarious dealings. Er, wait...
