Opinion: OK, maybe not dead bunnies through rusty tailpipes suck, but I, for one, don't see how Vista tomorrow equals the Linux desktop today. (DesktopLinux.com) Oh! My aching head. When I first saw ExtremeTech's article "Why Windows Vista Won't Suck," I thought: 'Ah-ha, sarcasm.' Nope. I was wrong. They really were saying that Vista is pretty good. Oh please. | ||

eWeek is full of losers. Only a loser would recommend a loser OS like Linsux. AS robbie pointed out, Linsux has more patches than you can shake a stick out. Sometimes so many that the patches would fill a CDROM. OUCH!!!!
And Vista hasn't even reached beta 2 yet, so eWeek writers get your head out of your Linsucking behind. LOL |

It's good to hear arguments on both sides. I guess it's up to the individual to decide when Vista ships. However, I didn't understand the comment about gaming - quote: "It's still not going to make your PC the equal of a dedicated game console, however"
That's a lame argument, since linux is nowhere near Win98, for example, when it comes to games. I know there's wine and the other one, but why bother? Comparing PC gaming and consoles is still irrelevant. Imagine Age of Empires 3 on Xbox... |
