I find it most ways inferior to Mapquest.
I cannot download to my PDA. I cannot get turn-by-turn directions with maps. It recommended a route from my home to my work which is gauranteed to take longer than my current route, which is simpler. I also saw no way to save my routes or locations so I could easily enter my home address without typing the whole thing in. This is somewhat mitigated by IE's autocomplete feature, but I still have to do it in mutiple fields. In addition, MapQuest highlights the route on the map; this map does not. In fact, at the default zoom level, it did not even show me the streets it recommended! How disturbing! However, I did like the map feature; it seems to be an ActiveX applet, and woks very well for zooming, and is very very clear and easy to read. Ah well. A shame. Mapquest isn't perfect either, and I was hoping to find its replacement in Microsoft. I also sent these comments to the feedback email address given on the site. I do hope they implement them.
