And you just know that if it was a Sun, Oracle, or Red Hat product that couldn't be downloaded... that ZiffDavis would write the story as "There's so much interest in the product that the servers cant even handle the load. This interest will surely mean the end of Microsoft".

Well, I would suspect several thousand people all downloading 2+ GIGS from a single site would bog down most servers... especially considering most of those people were either using corp. networks or home broadband.
Why do I say that? Well, who the hell would download 2 gigs on a modem? |
